DESCRIPTION:The Climbing Club focuses on safe climbing\, climbing techniques\, and having fun! Instructor Bill Kelly is a seasoned climber with a lot of expertise to share. All participants must have a release form signed by a parent/guardian on file. Parents\, guardians\, and guests are welcome! It meets on Mondays from 4:30-6:30 PM. \nCost: $20 for 6 months. Climbing Club operates year-round. The total cost for all sessions is $20. We ask participants to re-register every 6 months. \nParticipants younger than 5th grade are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent.  \nClimbing Club Dates:\nMarch 9\, 16\, 23\, 30\nApril 6\, 13\, 20\, 27\nMay 4\, 11\, 18 \nThe club is limited to 12 new climbers\, and an unlimited number of returning climbers are welcome. \nPlease note: This is a popular club with limited space. Climbing Club operates year-round. The total cost for all sessions is $20. DESCRIPTION:The Climbing Club focuses on safe climbing\, climbing techniques\, and having fun! Instructor Bill Kelly is a seasoned climber with a lot of expertise to share. All participants must have a release form signed by a parent/guardian on file. Parents\, guardians\, and guests are welcome! It meets on Mondays from 4:30-6:30 PM. \nCost: $20 for 6 months. Climbing Club operates year-round. The total cost for all sessions is $20. We ask participants to re-register every 6 months. \nParticipants younger than 5th grade are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent.  \nClimbing Club Dates:\nMarch 9\, 16\, 23\, 30\nApril 6\, 13\, 20\, 27\nMay 4\, 11\, 18 \nThe club is limited to 12 new climbers\, and an unlimited number of returning climbers are welcome. \nPlease note: This is a popular club with limited space. Members who are not actively participating when present will be asked to leave the club to free up a spot for a child on the waiting list.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a thrilling day at Six Flags Great America! We will be exploring the theme park only. \nFull Itinerary: \n8:00 AM: Depart the Brigade (we will travel via 12-passenger vans)\nApprox: 10:30 AM: Arrive at Six Flags\n*Participants ages 14 and older will be able to break off into their own groups. Those under age 14 will be in a group with a designated chaperone.\nLunch & dinner: Please have your child bring money to purchase lunch and dinner from the concessions. Six Flags only accepts card payments\, but they do have a cash-to-card kiosk that the kids can use for conversion. A chaperone can hang on to the money and place it in a locked locker if preferred. If you would like a chaperone to hang on to the money\, please put it in a Ziplock bag with the child’s name on it.\nApprox. 8:00 PM: Depart Six Flags\nApprox. 8:30 PM: Stop at McDonald’s (not included in cost)\nApprox. 11 PM: Return to Brigade \nPlease note that times are approximate. When traveling in large groups with unpredictable traffic patterns\, we cannot guarantee a definite arrival time. We will send a text update when we leave McDonald’s. \nParent Information: To enhance safety and accountability in a large park setting\, students will receive an AirTag during the trip. This device allows leaders to monitor general location within the park if a student becomes separated from the group. All devices will be distributed and collected by staff the same day. \nPlease note: This trip is designed for participants who enjoy roller coasters and thrill rides. If high-speed\, high-height attractions aren’t your thing\, this may not be the best fit for you!
