Join us for a thrilling day at Six Flags Great America! We will be exploring the theme park only.
Full Itinerary:
8:00 AM: Depart the Brigade (we will travel via 12-passenger vans)
Approx: 10:30 AM: Arrive at Six Flags
*Participants ages 14 and older will be able to break off into their own groups. Those under age 14 will be in a group with a designated chaperone.
Lunch & dinner: Please have your child bring money to purchase lunch and dinner from the concessions. Six Flags only accepts card payments, but they do have a cash-to-card kiosk that the kids can use for conversion. A chaperone can hang on to the money and place it in a locked locker if preferred. If you would like a chaperone to hang on to the money, please put it in a Ziplock bag with the child’s name on it.
Approx. 8:00 PM: Depart Six Flags
Approx. 8:30 PM: Stop at McDonald’s (included in cost)
Approx. 11 PM: Return to Brigade
Please note that times are approximate. When traveling in large groups with unpredictable traffic patterns, we cannot guarantee a definite arrival time. We will send a text update when we leave McDonald’s.
Parent Information: To enhance safety and accountability in a large park setting, students will receive an AirTag during the trip. This device allows leaders to monitor general location within the park if a student becomes separated from the group. All devices will be distributed and collected by staff the same day.
Please note: This trip is designed for participants who enjoy roller coasters and thrill rides. If high-speed, high-height attractions aren’t your thing, this may not be the best fit for you!
